True North cruises have announced a brand-new adventure on the Australian coast for next year. The maiden voyage of Adventure South West sets sail from Esperance in January 2019.
Join the True North in Esperance to discover the endless beaches that skirt Cape Le Grand. Encounter the wonders of the Bremer Bay Canyon. Indulge in delicacies from the sea, perhaps washed down with a bottle or two from the revered cellars of Margaret River, before disembarking in Fremantle.
With just one departure currently scheduled, on 20th January 2019, you will need to act fast to secure your place. This intimate expedition vessel has just 18 cabins, so space is extremely limited.
You’ll have the chance to explore the pink waters of Lake Hillier on Middle Island in the Recherche Archipelago. At biological hotspot Bremer Bay, you can view one of the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest seasonal populations of killer whales from the ship’s bow. Discover Albany’s fascinating Aboriginal and European history. Go fishing around Hamelin Bay. There’ll even be the chance to swim with dolphins amongst the sheltered waters of Rockingham.
The cruise finishes with a visit to the protected nature reserve of Rottnest Island. Home to the quokka, a small wallaby-like marsupial, there’ll be plenty of opportunity for beach combing and snorkelling. If you’re into scuba diving, the warm waters of the Leeuwin Current host a variety of corals and fish to explore.
