Simple, elegant, rustic style in the Menorcan countryside.
Once a traditional Menorcan farm, the patchwork of whitewashed buildings that make up the Torralbenc hotel have been turned into an elegant minimalist retreat.
You can take a walk through the vines in the surrounding vineyards, down to some of the nearby sandy beaches, swim a few lengths in the outdoor pool, or just relax at the Natura Bisse spa. Whatever you do, the watchword is relaxation. We think this chic hotel is best suited to adults looking for a laidback break.
You’ll find Torralbenc near Cala en Porter, a little seaside fishing village on Menorca – the sleepiest of the Balearic islands. The hotel itself is a half-hour stroll (or five-minute drive) from the village. If you do head into town, we recommend stopping in for a drink at the famous Cova d’en Xoroi bar around sunset.
If you’d rather not leave the hotel, you can dine at the Sa Taula de Torralbenc restaurant, housed in what used to be a storeroom for wine and grape barrels. If it’s an extra special occasion, book the VIP table to have the chef serve you dinner himself.
