Fine-dining and finesse at this family-friendly Lanzarote resort.
You’ll be jealous of the kids at Princesa Yaiza. When we say it’s a playground, we’re not exaggerating – the 10,000 square foot Kikoland is exactly that. With beach volleyball, tennis courts, football and climbing, there’s no time for boredom. The suites are also built with families in mind: you’ll find child-friendly steps, highchairs and bottle warmers, and mini-fridges stocked with juice and yoghurts. At dinner, the staff are happy to blend anything for babies, too.
There’s also a lot for grown-ups to enjoy here. Princesa Yaiza is right on the beach in the quiet resort of Playa Dorada, with pretty views out over the ocean to Fuerteventura and Isla de Lobos. It’s a five-star resort, with all the attention to detail you’d expect. Unwind alongside one of the enormous pools, or try the spa and enjoy Thalassotherapy, which blends marine-based treatments that make the most of nutrient rich algae and silt.
On the balmy evenings, sip cool drinks in one of the resort’s five bars. Combined with award-winning cuisine at the eight on-site restaurants, there’s really no need to leave the resort.
