MV Santa Cruz II, Galapagos Islands
Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands
Enjoy luxury accommodation on a expedition cruise ship as you discover the unmistakable Galapagos Islands.
Carefully developed by one of the founders of Galapagos exploration, the Santa Cruz II provides adventure to every corner of the bountiful islands combined with unbeatable on-board luxury. At over 70 metres long, there’s plenty of space for you to sit back and relax and take in the dramatic landscape as you cruise by.
This state-of-the-art expedition vessel is home to 50 cabins across its five decks that hold up to 90 guests. Enjoy spacious social areas both inside and out, that offer lots of privacy and seclusion to help you unwind after a long day sightseeing. Relax in a bubbling hot tub, reward yourself with a drink at the well-stocked bar, or study up on the area in the Reading Room or Natural History Library.
To make sure you experience every wonder that the Galapagos has to offer, you’ll find various guides on-board to provide you with all the expert knowledge you could need. There are also plenty of activities on offer to help you make the most of your trip. Think kayaking through the clear water, snorkelling to see what lies beneath or trekking the islands to find the most amazing wildlife, different on every island.
All of the Santa Cruz II’s expeditions begin from either Baltra or San Cristobal Airports. Each cruise then seats off on one of several varying itineraries so that the visits to the same islands is limited. Visitors thus see less people and the islands are better protected.
