Bequia Plantation Hotel
Saint Vincent & the Grenadines
Boutique beachfront haven on the picturesque island of Bequia.
With a beautiful beachfront location, Bequia Plantation Hotel is a chic boutique property on Bequia, a quaint and hilly island nine miles south of St Vincent that seems to have swerved mass tourism.
The hotel’s gingerbread-style cottages have soothing nautical colour schemes and modern touches and are set around a manicured lawn dotted with palm trees. The spacious villas are ideal for families. The main restaurant, the hotel’s focal point, has breezy sea views and serves both Caribbean and international dishes. We can highly recommend the delicious pizzas, made to order in a traditional brick oven – and topped with specialities like spicy jerk pork. Behind the restaurant there is a curvy pool with sun loungers on a terrace beneath the swaying palm trees. The lovely, small beach is perfect for lazy days and you can use the kayak, snorkelling, surfing and paddle board equipment.
Nearby, gorgeous Princess Margaret beach, considered to be one of the finest on Bequia is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Make time to explore the prettiest harbour in the Caribbean at Admiralty Bay, found within two forested clefts and peppered with bobbing yachts. Take to the sea on your own yacht charter for the day and spot turtles, dolphins and whales while sailing round this lesser-known Caribbean island.
Bequia Plantation Hotel is located on the beach, just 5 minutes from the island's capital Port Elizabeth.
