The Villa Experience
Set high in the leafy Bishopscourt and Constantia area, Skydance Villa combines the space and facilities of a private estate with easy access to some of Cape Town’s best-known attractions.
Sleeping up to 12 guests across six bedrooms, it is particularly well suited to families, with extensive gardens, a swimming pool, children’s facilities, a gym and several spaces for relaxing and entertaining. Views stretch towards the surrounding mountains, Kirstenbosch Gardens and Hout Bay.
The pool room forms the villa’s main entertainment hub, with stackable glass doors opening directly onto the garden and pool. Inside there is a bar, kitchen counter, BBQ, TV area and wood-burning fireplace, creating a space that works equally well for long lunches, relaxed evenings and cooler days.
Elsewhere, several lounge areas give larger groups plenty of room to spread out, while a private office provides a dedicated space for anyone needing to work during their stay.
A dedicated team of two takes care of housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation, while additional services can be arranged to tailor the stay. These include concierge assistance, a private chef, yoga and meditation sessions, massages and personal training. Families are particularly well catered for, with children’s bedrooms, a playroom, outdoor play structure and a swimming pool with an automated safety cover.
Location Overview
Skydance Villa sits in Bishopscourt, adjoining the Constantia area on the slopes around Table Mountain. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is less than 50m away, while Constantia’s historic vineyards are also within easy reach. Cape Town city centre is approximately 20 minutes away, and Cape Town International Airport is around a 20-minute drive.
A hire car opens up much more of the Cape Peninsula. The beaches of the Atlantic Seaboard, including Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno, are approximately 15 minutes from the villa, while Hout Bay offers a working harbour, beach, restaurants and markets. Further afield, days can be spent exploring the Cape Peninsula and Cape Point, visiting Boulders Beach, taking the cableway up Table Mountain or heading into the wider Cape Winelands, including Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek.
