The Villa Experience
Villa Oleander combines the space required for a larger group with a convenient location close to both Chania and the beaches of the Akrotiri Peninsula. Accommodating up to 14 guests, the villa is arranged as two independent units and offers generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, a large heated saltwater pool and extensive gardens.
This flexible layout makes it particularly well suited to extended families or groups travelling together who would also appreciate having separate living areas.
The ground and first floors each feature a spacious open-plan living and dining room with a fireplace, three double bedrooms with balconies, two marble-lined bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. On each floor, one bedroom has a king-size bed while two have twin beds pushed together.
The bathrooms include a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi bathtub, while the kitchens are equipped with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machines, wine cooler and ice maker. Each level also has its own laundry room and a choice of terraces and balconies overlooking the sea, pool or gardens.
Outside, the 14.4 x 4.1 metre saltwater swimming pool sits at the heart of the villa’s generous grounds. Olive trees, aromatic herbs and flowers surround the terraces, while a pergola-shaded dining area seating 14 and an adjacent barbecue make outdoor meals straightforward for the whole group.
There is also plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxing around the pool, along with both covered and uncovered parking.
Location Overview
Villa Oleander is located in Agios Onoufrios on Crete’s Akrotiri Peninsula, combining a countryside setting with convenient access to everyday amenities and the coast. The sandy beach of Agios Onoufrios is around 850 metres away – approximately a 10-minute walk – while the nearest supermarket is around a 3-minute drive. Kounoupidiana is also approximately 3 minutes away and has tavernas, bakeries, grocery shops, a pharmacy, beauty centre, petrol station and bank.
Chania is approximately 10-15 minutes away by car, making it easy to spend time in town while staying outside its busier centre. The beaches of Kalathas, Stavros and Marathi can also be reached in approximately 10-15 minutes by car. Chania Airport is around a 15-minute drive from the villa, while Souda Port is also approximately 15 minutes away. Further local facilities include a tennis club, gym, personal training studio, beauty centre, scuba diving, cinema and bowling.
