Located on a wildlife corridor between two of the most important parks in northern Tanzania, Forest Chem Chem is the ideal start to your safari. Set within virgin forest on the edge of the plains, with views across the savannah, days are curated to your pace and with a private team on hand they can be as fast or slow paced as you choose.
The region has excellent plains game and its location approaching the Rift Valley escarpment means game drives into the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park are all easily possible. The vast rooms set in the shade of the palm trees are pure romance – floaty linen drapes, earthy tones and fabrics make the tents seriously luxurious and in-keeping with their surroundings.
