The Villa Experience

One of Sri Lanka’s most stylish villas, Braganza House is a beautiful home that simultaneously celebrates Dutch Sri Lankan architecture with the artistry of tropical modernism. Above all, Braganza simply creates a wonderful place to stay, surrounded by exotic greenery and a team of friendly staff well-equipped to deal with your every need. Dining is a highlight here, and a chance to sample a variety of Sri Lankan dishes. Breakfast is a delicious selection of tropical fruit, local curd yoghurt and egg hoppers (bowl-shaped pancakes) and a traditional spread of ‘rice and curry’ for dinner is a must – allow the chef to show his range with countless dishes that all taste different. As lovely as your home is, you will want to explore – temples, tea estates, surf-crested waves and visits to Galle are all reachable. Come home for massages, cookery classes or a memorable cultural performance of Kandyan folk dance.
