The Villa Experience
Found in its own secluded headland on the west coast of Virgin Gorda, Baraka Point is quite simply the most idyllic private Caribbean home and the perfect setting for a big family gathering or celebration get-together. Individually situated Asian-style pavilion bedrooms all have their own entrance and two family suites mean there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Extremely well set-up for groups travelling with children, Baraka Point has lots to keep little and big ones busy from pool inflatables to garden toys, paddleboards and snorkelling gear plus staff are adept at setting up an afternoon treasure hunt or a few exhilarating hours tubing or waterskiing. Adults meanwhile will find peace in the tranquil gardens, enjoying spa treatments, yoga classes and handcrafted cocktails. For a family treat, head out around the nearby islands on a yacht, stopping for beach picnics or a swim at the iconic sea baths of Virgin Gorda. Finish at famed cocktail spot Soggy Dollar on Jost Van Dyke to round off the day before returning home for a chef-prepared dinner and maybe a bonfire on the beach.
