The Villa Experience
Alfajiri Garden Villa combines a superb beachfront setting with the privacy and service of an exclusive-use villa. Set in an elevated position above Diani Beach, the villa sleeps up to 10 guests across four spacious en-suite bedrooms, each overlooking the Indian Ocean. A private infinity pool, landscaped gardens and direct beach access make it particularly well suited to families or groups looking for plenty of space to spend time together.
At the heart of the villa is a generous veranda beneath a traditional Makuti roof, opening onto the gardens and ocean beyond. Outside, the lawn leads from the pool and terrace towards the beach, while an extended Jacuzzi deck connects to an atmospheric dining area with uninterrupted ocean views. Its sand floor, shaded wooden-beam roof and proximity to the water create the feeling of dining directly on the beach.
Service is a significant part of the experience. All meals and beverages, including local and imported alcoholic drinks, are included, with cuisine personalised to guests’ preferences and a private butler available 24 hours a day. Wellness treatments can be arranged at the villa, while guests also have complimentary access to Uzuri Spa. Those wanting to explore can choose from activities including traditional dhow sailing, snorkelling and diving, kitesurfing, jet skiing, deep-sea fishing and golf.
Location Overview
Alfajiri Villas sit above the white sands of Diani Beach on Kenya’s south coast, overlooking the Indian Ocean. Diani’s 11-mile coastline is particularly well known for its coral reefs and watersports, with opportunities for scuba diving, kitesurfing, jet ski safaris and deep-sea fishing. Golf is also available at the 18-hole championship course at Leisure Lodge Golf Resort.
The location also works particularly well as a beach extension to an East African safari. Ukunda Airport is less than a 10-minute transfer from the villas, making it straightforward to combine time on safari with a few days on the coast. Mombasa Airport is less than an hour away, while daily scheduled services operate from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for guests travelling to Kenya specifically for the beach. Further afield, guests can take a traditional Swahili dhow to Kisite Marine Park for snorkelling and diving, with the option to continue to Wasini Island for lunch.
