British Airways launch a direct flight to America’s country music capital in May.
From May 4th, you’ll be able to fly direct from Heathrow to Nashville, known as America’s ‘Music City’, for the first time. Choose from five flights a week onboard the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to what will be BA’s 26th destination in the USA.
“We are incredibly excited to be adding Nashville to our extensive global network, making us the only carrier flying non-stop between Europe and Tennessee," said Sean Doyle, British Airways' Director of Network and Alliances. "With more than a hundred live music venues, a rich history and heritage and a thriving food and drink scene Nashville is a truly vibrant place for all tastes and styles.”
With BA also having launched a direct service to New Orleans in 2017, it’s more convenient than ever to travel to America’s Deep South. Not only does Nashville boast over 160 live venues for everything from jazz to jive, but it makes a great starting point for fly-drives incorporating Memphis and Natchez and New Orleans.
Enjoy VIP access to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Oprey, taste the best whisky Tennessee has to offer, and stand in the same room where Elvis and Johnny Cash once recorded as part of our Music of the Deep South suggested itinerary.
