Epic Iceland

Awe-inspiring adventures come thick and fast during this five night exploration of Iceland’s natural wonders. Soar over dramatic volcanoes by helicopter. Go snowmobiling over dazzling blue glaciers. Get up close and personal with hot spouting geysers and rushing waterfalls. It’s the perfect Icelandic introduction.

Land of Fire & Ice

Your Icelandic experience begins on leaving the airport with a soothing post flight dip at the nearby Blue Lagoon. Its steamy geothermal waters will provide a welcome introduction to Iceland’s natural wonders and feeling suitably reinvigorated continue into central Reykjavik for a two night stay at Tower Suites, a stylish abode occupying the top floors of the city’s tallest building.

With such commanding views of Reykjavik and the mountains beyond you’ll be forgiven for wanting to remain in your penthouse suite but action-packed days lie ahead, starting with an exclusive experience to Thrihnukagigur volcano. A short hike across the lava fields brings you to the dormant crater edge where you will be lowered 400 feet below the surface of the earth to experience inside a magma chamber.  Follow this with an exhilarating helicopter tour, to take in Iceland’s tallest waterfall in all its glory before cruising above the tectonic plates at Thingvellir National Park.

In the afternoon set sail from Reykjavik harbour on a whale and puffin watching expedition. We use smaller and faster Zodiac boats that ensure you cover more area in search of wildlife and being closer to sea level makes for a much more intimate and rewarding experience with these magnificent mammals.

Glaciers & Waterfalls

Depart Reykjavik with your private guide for a tour of the famous Golden Circle region. Witness the power of Strokkur’s hot, spouting geyser as it erupts forcefully into the air. Visit the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, where the rushing waters plummet 32 metres down into the canyon below. Then continue to Iceland’s southern shores, where you’ll be based at Skalakot Lodge for the remaining three nights.

Iceland’s south shore is renowned for its magnificent landscapes and natural beauty and our guides will maximise your time to make sure you experience its diversity. From snowmobile adventures on the Eyjafjallajokull glacier-capped volcano to a day in a super jeep to explore the rugged nature of the Thorsmork Valley, where you can pull on your hiking shoes and discover hidden waterfalls, your adventures will leave you feeling exhilarated and the dramatic scenery will take your breath away.

If you’re travelling in winter, a Northern Lights hunting trip is the perfect finale. Head out into the crisp, cold night for the chance to witness the beautiful green and red lights dancing upon the dark midnight skies.
