Away from major tourist spots, the Dominican Republic’s north coastline is in a world of its own. Where the jungle meets the ocean, this pristine landscape is home to a few secluded hotels. Further afield you could take an airboat tour of the Everglades National Park then head south to the Florida Keys – home to exceptional beaches, marine national parks and a variety of water sports.
