From March 24th, you’ll be able to fly direct to the Seychelles with British Airways.
A thousand miles from anywhere, beaches lined with granite boulders are fringed by the calm, turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. The Seychelles take luxury to new levels on all fronts. And with new nonstop British Airways flights from London, it’s about to become easier than ever to get to.
The twice-weekly summer service from Heathrow Terminal 5 commences on March 24th and runs until October, and will be the only direct flight from the UK to the Seychelles. Using the new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, the 10-hour flight will cut the current journey time of over 13 hours via the Middle East. Flights will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays, easily enabling you to take 10-night trips to this Indian Ocean island paradise.
BA network and alliances director Sean Doyle said: “The Seychelles is one of the most beautiful places on earth and we’re delighted to be adding this collection of islands to our extensive route network. As one of the leading luxury holiday destinations, the Seychelles offers customers a wide range of accommodation and activities in stunning natural surroundings.”
