Set sail from Sicily across the Tyrrhenian Sea to discover the alluring Aeolian Islands. Home to dramatic rocky coastlines, black-sand beaches and incredible sea-swimming, you’ll discover that each of these ruggedly beautiful islands has its own individual charm.
Plot a course for Lipari, the largest of the isles, to visit the impressive castle and explore ancient Greek ruins. You’ll also find plenty of beautiful coves and white pebble beaches lapped by turquoise waters to stop at, many of which are only accessible by boat. Then pay a visit to the nearby island of Vulcano, where we can arrange for you to climb to the smoking crater of the volcano. If you’re feeling less active, cover yourself in healing mud to rejuvenate at one of the many hot springs.
For a contrasting day out at sea, the islands of Panarea and Stromboli make a perfect pair. Chic Panarea attracts jet-setters and Hollywood A-listers craving tranquil isolation. Drop anchor here to wander whitewashed streets and swim in the crystalline waters. The more dramatic island of Stromboli is home to a permanently-erupting, active volcano. There’s a palpable sense of drama as you approach, and hikes can be arranged here too.
Trips from Taormina can be arranged on a private basis at a time to suit you, all you need do is pick your islands.
