Private Islands to Experience

Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Ibiza, Tanzania

Let us help you choose your island, populate it with your favourite people, and you’re ready for your most exclusive holiday yet.

A Private Playground – Thanda Island, Tanzania

Play out your castaway fantasies in absolute style – with up to 20 of your friends or family. The perfect place for a stonking party, an unforgettable get-together or the ultimate family gathering, ultra-private Thanda Island, 16 nautical miles off the coast of Tanzania, provides an utterly gorgeous backdrop. There’s powder-soft sand, a lush interior and encircling water so clear the colourful corals beam from below.

Arrive by helicopter directly onto the beach. Remove your shoes and embrace barefoot living on this relaxed island where Swahili charm blows on the breeze from Zanzibar.

There are five bedrooms in the main luxury villa, four suites in the traditional bandas and plenty of space, especially around the modernist glass-sided pool, which becomes the centrepiece for many a gathering. By day, you can jet-ski, fish, play tennis or simply laze in a hammock with a glass of something chilled and bubbly in hand. Hakuna Matata epitomised.

Insider Tip: ‘Throw a special party on Thanda Island – as champagne is included you’ll be the most relaxed host imaginable.’

Party Perfect – Tagomago, Ibiza

There’s no place in the world like Ibiza for hair-down partying, swish restaurants and a boho vibe that permeates every style-laden corner. And now, there’s a new way to do it. Unfeasibly for this popular part of the Med, an uninhabited island north-east of Ibiza is the location of a show-stealing villa, which will leave your guests open-mouthed.

For starters, it’s a private island, so it’s just  for you and the chosen few you’re bringing. It lends itself rather well to a party – this is the place to hire for a landmark celebration, and there’s space to spread out within its sprawling five ensuite bedrooms. Rooftop terraces, an open-plan kitchen complete with chef, a seductive pool and panoramic views are just a few spots where you can kick off celebrations. And for downtime, descend into the ultra-clear Mediterranean waters to scuba dive around shoals of barracudas.

Insider Tip ‘With your own speedboat and captain on standby, dip in and out of Ibiza – shopping in the old town, long lunches at Salinas beach and Experimental Bar for sunset cocktails.’

Secret Caribbean, Petit St Vincent

The Caribbean is ever-popular and deservedly so. Swaying palm trees, turquoise water, and a persuasive Caribbean vibe that has us drinking rum punch at noon. But imagine enjoying all this on a private island paradise?

Introducing Petit Saint Vincent, or PSV to those in the know. This gorgeous slice of heaven has 122 acres of lush tropical jungle, ringed by marshmallow-soft beaches. Set back from the beach are 22 cottages – so this could be quite the epic gathering.

Maroon your tribe here and you can flit between the island’s three gorgeous beaches, flop into hammocks or take a snorkelling trip to the clear waters of Tobago Cay.

Your group may like to drop in on a deserted atoll for a picnic lunch on the way back. With little WiFi, this is the place to connect more deeply with family, friends and your gorgeous surroundings.

Insider Tip – ‘To ensure your gathering goes off with a bang, let us know if you need us to arrange a preferred champagne, sushi chef or English-speaking nanny on the island.’
