The three day Virgin Galactic Experience costs US$200,000 per astronaut and includes not only the most amazing experience in your life, but also four nights’ accommodation at the Astronaut Hotel in New Mexico, including full board and transfers.  International and domestic flights within the US plus taxes are extra.  Friends and family travelling with each astronaut will also incur additional costs. 

Why make a reservation now?

As unbelievable as it may sound to many people, seats are selling fast, so the longer you wait to make a reservation, the longer you will wait to go to space.  The first customers are also already enjoying the added benefit of being part of this exciting experience from its earliest days.  Future astronauts are kept informed and engaged in the project, with Virgin Galactic recognising their unique contribution to the dawning of a new space age. 

All future astronauts will be invited to attend Astronaut Forums with Sir Richard Branson on his Caribbean island home or at his South African game reserve as well as opportunities to tour Scaled Composites, to see the new vehicles under development first hand.  Additionally there will be VIP invitations to media events marking major Virgin Galactic milestones as well as exclusive access to a dedicated customer website.

Your Payment

Bailey Robinson will assist you in arranging your deposit to be sent electronically by your bank to Virgin Galactic’s US Dollar bank account in the UK.  At this time credit cards and other forms of payment are not possible but this could change soon.

Your Deposit

Deposits are refundable up until your flight date is confirmed and you have been sent and agreed to comply with the Conditions of Carriage, however for cancellations there will be a handling fee retained by Virgin Galactic which is 5% of Pioneer deposits and 10% of Voyager deposits.  After agreeing to the Conditions of Carriage refunds are available under certain circumstances or at Virgin Galactic’s discretion. Full deposit terms and conditions can be sent to you on request.

Virgin Galactic understand that you might need a little more reassurance so have also provided a deposit guarantee within the Deposit Terms and Conditions, a formal arrangement between Virgin Galactic and a large holding company within the Group which gives an added layer of security if Virgin Galactic is unable to honour its refund obligations for any reason. 

PRE-FLIGHT OPTIONAL TRAINING

NASTAR – Air & Space Adventure Programmes

Your journey will be intense and exhilarating and the more that can be simulated beforehand, the better the real experience will be.  Bailey Robinson is therefore able to arrange G force training in a centrifugal simulator at the NASTAR Centre in Pennsylvania as well as a Zero G parabolic flight to gain experience weightless conditions.  

Based at the National Aerospace Training and Research Centre in Philadelphia, space flight training is available for anyone interested in preparing for or trialling travel on commercial sub-orbital space flights.  Whether you have booked your Virgin Galactic experience already or you are unsure whether a sub-orbital space flight is right for you, here you can try the closest space flight experience available on Earth. 

The NASTAR two-day space flight training programme costs US$5,800 per person.
