Uganda, with its unique blend of savannah, rainforest and waterways joins with Rwanda across the Virunga Mountains to bring together the world’s two premier primate viewing destinations. Untouched by mass tourism these countries are ideal retreats for eco-tourists in search of an exceptional experience. There are magnificent sights to take in, such as huge herds of elephant and buffalo at Kidepo Valley National Park, the Nile's hippos and exotic birds and the flamingos, tropical rainforest and salt lakes of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
