Graveyard of a thousand ships, the eerily beautiful landscapes of Namibia’s Skeleton Coast range from majestic sand dunes and bleached desert to stark mountain ranges and the lush greenery of the Kunene Valley in the north. Bizarre geology cradles more wildlife than one would imagine, including the elusive desert elephant and rare black rhino. Inland, the fabulous Etosha National Park is populated by nearly every African animal species, including black-faced impala, black rhino and huge numbers of springbok. An impressive variety of terrain includes shimmering saltpans and dense brush, whilst nearby the Ongava Private Game Reserve has a similar diversity of vegetation and the priceless virtue of resident black and white rhino.
