14/11/11 - Bailey Robinson acquires Real Holidays
Top end operator Bailey Robinson is delighted to announce its acquisition of Real Holidays, the widely respected Islington based travel agency.
Rory Pilkington, Managing Director of Bailey Robinson said, “We are very pleased to have bought a travel company as reputable as Real Holidays and much look forward to working with the team. Having built up the company over the last 20 years, I’m very excited at the opportunities that lie ahead which is why I will remain within the company for at least two years.”
It will be business as usual for both companies. Bailey Robinson will continue to offer high end luxury travel around the world but will be complemented by the Real Holidays portfolio, the company’s emphasis on knowledge, and in particular by the strength and diversity of their European programme.
Rory was delighted with the acquisition and explained it made sound strategic sense for both companies as this is a major step forward and an exciting new chapter in the history of two important and independent operators in the travel industry.
