The famous Las Vegas Strip is the perfect place for a walk in the warm desert evening, or take a stroll downtown and view a dazzling light show that spans an entire street. Visitors can also glimpse amazing re-creations such as erupting volcanoes, the Eiffel Tower and the Sphinx of Egypt in front of the various hotels. Las Vegas offers top quality entertainment, including headliner shows, concerts, shopping and, of course, the gaming tables. If you are looking to enjoy the Wild West and the great outdoors, there is plenty to see. There are enchanting panoramas in the Red Rock National Conservation area, Lake Mead National Recreation area and at Mount Charleston, all only minutes from Las Vegas Strip hotels and casinos.

Sample itinerary
Day 1:
The buildings in Vegas like no other, each grandiose interior tops the last. Pay a visit to some of Las Vegas's biggest names which include the Wynn Las Vegas, The Venetian, Bellagio, Paris Las Vegas and Caesars Palace (including The Forum Shops and the talking statues). Then at night, take a drive down the Strip. As amazing as all this is during the day, it is unbelievable at night. Aside from just the Strip itself, there are Bellagio's water fountains, which "perform" to various musical numbers and the volcano explosion next door at The Mirage. Eat and have a drink at the top of the Stratosphere, goggling at the view from the tallest building west of the Mississippi before trying your luck on the famous gaming tables.
Do something really "Vegasy" and visit the Liberace Museum or something surprisingly "un-Vegasy" like the Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage. At night, take in a show. The productions from the avant-garde Cirque du Soleil are the finest in Vegas, but there are plenty to choose from, including a selection of Broadway favourites. Genuine haute cuisine by celebrity chefs has invaded the town and you should take advantage of it. Bartolotta, Fleur de Lys, Bouchon, Corsa Cucina, and Picasso are top choices (not to mention Joël Robuchon and L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand) plus there are branches of Olives, Circo, Pinot Brasserie, and the Border Grill. Leave some time to go Downtown to see out the much more affordable casinos in the classic Glitter Gulch and to visit the Fremont Street Experience light show.
Take a break and drive out to Red Rock Canyon. The panoramic 13-mile Scenic Loop Drive is best seen early in the morning when there's little traffic. Enjoy a hike in the beautiful natural surroundings. Enjoy a stop at nearby Bonnie Springs Ranch, where you can enjoy a guided trail ride into the desert wilderness or enjoy the silliness at Old Nevada.
