Namibia’s rugged central region is one of its most scenic. Dramatic granite outcrops, pre-historic watercourses and grassland plains framed by mountains lie beneath the clearest skies in the world. Game species range from desert elephant and ostrich to springbok and black rhino. Recently, elephant and rhino tracking safaris have been introduced to fund the conservation of these endangered animals. The Africat Foundation also operates in Okonjima, protecting the cheetah and leopard populations of the area. On the cultural front, prehistoric rock paintings abound and include the famous ‘White Lady’ on Brandburg Mountain, and Twyfelfontein, an extraordinary rocky outcrop embellished with literally thousands of Bushman engravings.

Arrive into Johannesburg and connect with the schedule flight to Windhoek. Transfer by light aircraft to Desert Rhino Camp for a 3 night stay.
DAY 3 - 4 DESERT RHINO CAMP
2 days of activities including day and night game drives, guided walks and the highlight is tracking the rare Black Rhino.
DAY 5 DESERT RHINO CAMP/SERRA CAFEMA
Transfer by light aircraft to Serra Cafema for a 4 night stay.
