DAY 1 – 3 Hanoi
Fly to Hanoi, explore the Old Quarter & see a water puppet show. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum & the Temple of Literature. Take a cyclo ride around the city or between the main sights, stumbling across temples & pagodas in the narrow streets. Enjoy a night at Halong Bay on a traditional junk & try the delicious fresh seafood of the area
DAY 3 – 6 Vientiane

DAY 6 – 9 Luang Prabang
Fly to Luang Prabang & explore the ancient capital’s landscape, mountains, royal palace & the Wat Xieng Thong temple. Perhaps trek through some of the local villages on the outskirts or to the Kuang Si waterfalls. See the monks in their saffron robes walking through the narrow alleys at dawn, collecting alms from the people.
