Kenya’s game-rich southern parks run from the flat lands of Tsavo East to the Shompole Conservancy overlooking the Great Rift Valley, where the landscapes vary from rainforest and savannah to salt plain and soda lake. Inbetween lie the Chyulu Hills, site of some of the longest caves in the world, and Amboseli Game Reserve in the foothills of Kilimanjaro. A photographer’s dream, this picturesque reserve deep within Maasai country provides the stunning backdrop of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak to foreground shots of game such as the famous black-maned Amboseli lion, cheetah and leopard. Wonderful and photogenic birdlife includes Maasai ostrich, white pelican and heron.

DAY 2 NAIROBI/OL DONYO WUAS
On arrival in Nairobi transfer by light aircraft to Ol Donyo Wuas for a 3 night stay.
DAY 3-4 OL DONYO WUAS
2 days of activities focusing on game drives, walking and horse riding.
DAY 5 OL DONYO WUAS/REKERO
Transfer by light aircraft to the Maasai Mara, Rekero Tented Camp for a 4 night stay.
DAY 6-8 REKERO
3 days of game drives. Walking can be arranged outside the National Park.
DAY 9 REKERO/RUSINGA ISLAND
Transfer by light aircraft to Rusinga Island for a 3 night stay.
