Alberta

Alberta is home to the mighty Rockies, one of the most photographed areas of the world. The Icefields Parkway, which links Banff and Jasper National Parks has to be one of the roads to drive in a lifetime; wildlife abounds from Grizzly and Black Bears to elk and wolves and at every turn a stunning vista. This region has something for everyone; from bathing in natural springs at Upper Banff Hot Springs or for the more active kayaking on the majestic Lake Louise or simply to marvel at the thunderous Maligne Canyon and Athabasca Falls and Glacier. A huge choice of accommodation and mode of transport is on offer from the beautiful Rocky Mountaineer train to first class accommodation at the original castle at Fairmont Banff Springs.
