    Lešić Dimitri Palace

Lešić Dimitri Palace consists of six medieval stone buildings in Korčula’s glorious old town, stunningly converted to slick 21st century residences.

During the 8 year renovation of this former bishop’s house special care was taken to specifically preserve the beautiful medieval stonework. Modern furnishings juxtapose the stone lintels and wooden beamed ceilings in open-plan bedrooms with freestanding bathtubs and high-tech kitchens. Debate still rages as to whether Marco Polo was from Venice or Korčula but here Croatia lays claim to the explorer, as each room at Lešić Dimitri Palace is named after and inspired by a region from his journey along the Silk Routes.

The Silk Route theme is continued at the spa where the treatment list has influences from Thailand and the Mediterranean. Natural products have been created especially for Lešic Dimitri Palace using herbs, roots, flowers and fruits organically grown in Dalmatia and Asia.

Talented Chef Toni Erceg has put together a menu at LD Restaurant that celebrates local and seasonal ingredients and flavours, putting LD firmly on the list of places to eat at on the Adriatic coast plus the views from its seafront promenade location are a bonus. Croatia is becoming increasingly well known for its wines and the hotel’s sommelier is an enthusiastic advocate of Dalmatian varieties and can advise you on excellent pairings.

Lešić Dimitri Palace is a superb couple’s hotel set on a verdant coastline amid prolific vineyards with a beautiful medieval town nearby.
