Nestled in the Choekhor valley and adjacent to the first and second King of Bhutan's palace, Wangdicholing, Amankora Bumthang is stunning. Inside, Amankora Bhutan continues to impress as you enter the impressive stone-clad hallway. The 16 suites are all situated in four separate dwellings and feature wood-panelled interiors, a traditional bukhari, king-size bed, terrazzo-clad bath, shower, twin vanities and daybed overlooking the courtyard. You will also enjoy views of the nearby Wangdicholing palace and monastery.
The spa is on hand to help you unwind even further, with three treatment rooms and a steam room. For those who wish to explore the local area, Bumthang produces a variety of products with butter, cheese, honey, spirits and brandies on offer.
