Beho Beho lies on a hill in the northern sector of the Selous Game Reserve, Southern Tanzania. Given its elevated position in the 'highlands' the architecture of the camp makes the very best of the exceptional views. The eight stone and thatch bandas furnished in the style of a private home, with king-sized beds, Zanzibari day beds and writing desks. Opening straight onto a large veranda, these charming and luxurious bandas also have separate dressing rooms and en suite bathrooms with open air showers.
Walking, driving and boating safaris on Lake Tagalala offer guaranteed and prolific game viewing opportunities. Bush breakfasts and picnics are a welcome interlude on longer safaris and a quick dip in the hot, deep sulphur springs of Maji Moto is often a highlight for those with weary muscles. Perhaps a perfect day would conclude with a lazy afternoon by the pool and an evening game drive followed by dinner under the stars? Anything and everything is possible at this wonderful camp.
