Saint Barthelemy often abbreviated to Saint Barth in French, or St.Barts in English, the collectivity is one of the four territories among the Leeward Islands in the northeastern Caribbean that comprise the French West Indies, along with Guadeloupe, Martinique and Saint Martin.
Situated just below the Tropic of Cancer, St Barths is a small, rocky island of volcanic origin which is sunny with very little rain. It comprises lush meadows, pristine beaches, green mountains, beautiful sandy coves and sparkling clear waters.
