Finca Cortesin’s goal was to create a luxurious resort that would outshine every conventional five star resort in Andalucia and it does not disappoint.

Set near Sotogrande and Marbella, the hotel draws its inspiration from traditional Spanish fincas with red clay tiles and whitewashed walls. Classic, yet sophisticated and stylish, the hotel features a Moorish inspired cloister with hand-carved ceilings and floors. Guest rooms and hallways are furnished with marble and grand antiques from Spanish, Portuguese and French castles, monasteries and stately homes.

The resort covers more than 200 hectares of land including a renowned 18 hole golf course developed by Cabell Robinson. It is home to the Volvo World Match Play Championships and is generally considered to be one of the most challenging courses in Europe.

For guests wanting to relax, there is the zen-inspired spa with various treatment rooms, pools, thermal suites, saunas and steam baths as well as the only snow cabin in Spain.

When it comes to food, the hotel again comes up trumps. Guests can choose between the signature restaurant Schilo for a fusion of Arabic and Asian cuisine, El Jardin for traditional Spanish fare or the pool bar for light Andalucian dishes and tapas.

The hotel offers 67 spacious suites with luxurious, all marble bathrooms. Some also have their own private pool and terrace with panoramic views of the Mediterranean, the golf course or the lush gardens.

The newest addition to the hotel is a stunning beach club, located just one kilometre from the hotel, offering a 35 metre infinity pool and a restaurant allowing guests to continue enjoying the exemplary service provided at the hotel.
