The Four Seasons Resort Seychelles opened its doors in February 2009 and is an all villa property in a delightful location on Mahé filled with the scent of frangipani and cinnamon trees. 67 private pool villas nestle among a forested hillside, most of which overlook the powder-sand beach in the sheltered bay below. The Four Seasons Spa has a fusion of Indian and Asian techniques and also features a yoga pavilion and beauty centre, all of which is located at the top of the hill with spectacular views over Petite Anse Bay and the Indian Ocean beyond.
The bay provides safe swimming year round and activities at the water sports pavilion includes snorkelling, canoeing, kayaking, 17ft trimaran boating and a PADI dive centre. To preserve the sanctity of the bay no motorised water sports are allowed. Dining options includes two restaurants with attached bars; ZEZ serving Mediterranean influenced food, and Kannel is a south-east Asian cuisine beachside restaurant beside the main pool.
As well as being indulgent, the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is also family friendly and offers a 'Kids for all Seasons' programme for toddlers to 12 year olds and has its own spray pool at the kids' club. Due to the steep drop-offs around hilltop and ocean view villas families with children under 10 years are recommend to stay either in the Garden View Villas, the two-bedroom Presidential Villa or three-bedroom Royal Villa. The latter two suites are lower down and closest to the beach.
All this and Four Season's legendary service make this a winning combination and an exclusive and exciting Seychelles addition.
