An archipelago comprising of just over 7,100 islands, the Philippines enjoys a wealth of distinctive culture, rich history and stunning natural resources. The Philippine islands can be split into four main groups; the most northerly island, Luzon, is home to the Capital Manila, in the South is Mindanao the second largest island while in between these two islands is the cluster of islands known as the Visayas.
