Namibia

Namibia is home to some of the world's most dramatic landscapes and extraordinary, yet fragile ecosystems - for example, the Namib desert with its burnt umber sand dunes and the eerily beautiful Skeleton Coast which is littered with shipwrecks. Namibia is also home to the Etosha National Park, one of the largest reserves in Africa, where rare desert elephant, black rhino, oryx, kudu, unusual birdlife and indigenous plants can be found.

Namibian lodges are as amazing as the landscapes. Little Ongava next to Etosha is a luxury lodge which blends harmoniously with its surroundings. In the rugged northern Damaraland region, Palmwag Rhino is a luxury mobile tented camp from which guests can track rhino on foot accompanied by dedicated conservationists. In the stunning scenery of the Hartman Valley, there's the remote but stylish riverside Serra Cafema, where you can interact with the friendly Himba people, one of the last true nomads in Africa. Little Kulula lies in the heart of the Namib with endless views of the red dunes of Sossusvlei. A place for deep contemplation, this is where the star gazing is unbeatable and dawn balloon rides conclude with champagne breakfast.
