The hotel is located in a vast palm tree grove by a white sand beach and lagoon in the southern part of Sainte-Marie Island, a tropical paradise just off the east coast of Northern Madagascar and perfect for those seeking palm-lined beaches, coral reefs and relaxation, bathed by the warm streams of the Indian Ocean. All the villas have been built with noble materials from Madagascar including rosewood, stone and the roofs from traveller-tree leaves. Twenty spacious bungalows are equipped with suspended beds, showers and hardwood furnishings and afford panoramic views over the lagoon from their verandas. Five executive beach villas are glass-fronted, to take full advantage of the tropical sunsets and ocean vistas. The restaurant is known for being the best on the island, with the major culinary influences being Creole, French, and Malagasy. Activities include cycling, kayaking, snorkelling, quad biking and 4x4 excursions as well as boat trips, diving and fishing.
