Amantaka is set on a large garden estate, housed in French Colonial buildings, with 24 suites. Choose from a pool suite with a private eight metre pool or a Khan or Mekong Suite with spacious interior and exterior living areas, all opening out through the main courtyard, shaded by mango trees. There is a bar, restaurant and well stocked library overlooking the pool and central courtyard. For guests looking for relaxation, a gym, meditation and yoga studio and incredible Amantaka Spa awaits. The resort is happy to arrange visits to the Kuang Xi Waterfalls, jungle treks and boat trips down the Mekong River and for the more adventurous, Luang Prabang, the enchanting former capital of Laos is in walking distance with 32 temples, the former Royal Palace and classic French colonial buildings.
