Overlooking the most beautiful bay of the Costa Smeralda to the north east of Sardinia, this superb beach resort resembles a typical, whitewashed Mediterranean village.
Its extensive gardens lead down to a long, white sandy beach, part of which is privately owned by the hotel. Its 78 guest rooms and 16 suites combine old world rustic charm with modern luxury, such as CD players, satellite TV and VCRs. Each has a large terrace, furnished with its own comfortable white wicker chairs overlooking either the rugged coast or the beautifully manicured grounds. Suites have two bathrooms and provide flexible accommodation for groups and families
In typical Mediterranean fashion, the main restaurant has an elevated taverna-like terrace on which to enjoy delicious regional cuisine and excellent wines served by ever-smiling waiters and waitresses. Informal lunches are served at the Barbecue Grill on the beach.
During the day and late into the evening in the summer months, the Toy Club Romazzino, with its pool and playground, activities including mini soccer, banana boating and live entertainers keep children fully occupied. Parents can hire boats, explore nearby Roman ruins, historic fortresses and churches, or enjoy water sports, the huge seawater pool, the gym, and tennis or golf which are just a short drive away. Alternatively they can simply relax and take in the magnificent views.
