Off the beaten track in a scenic corner of Provence near Cannes, this Four Seasons Resort is a luxurious year round retreat offering superb spa facilities, golf, tennis and a wealth of other activities.
Drawing on signature standards of hospitality and luxury, it is less than an hour from St Tropez and Monte Carlo and is the perfect gateway to the Côte d’Azur as well as a superb destination in its own right. Surrounded by lavender fields, vineyards and picturesque medieval towns, the resort recreates the appearance of an ancient village.
The two golf courses have even been landscaped unobtrusively into the countryside. Scattered on the hillside, its suites are housed in ochre walled villas with terracotta tiled roofs. All include a large bedroom, bathroom and sitting area with French windows opening onto a private terrace with enchanting views across the valley. The Prestige Villa Mediterranée is the only one bedroom villa with its own outdoor private pool.
At the main gourmet restaurant La Faventia, outstanding contemporary Mediterranean food and prestigious wines are served indoors or on the terrace. The poolside Tousco Grill serves seasonal cuisine alfresco and the golf clubhouse specialises in a French and international menu. Children under 12 benefit from daily complimentary buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner during July and August.
Year round, this resort offers a fabulous portfolio of sporting activities. Designed by professional golfer, Dave Thomas, the two 18 hole courses offer some of the best golfing in Europe. There is a covered driving range, golf academy, and the Albatros Golf Performance Centre is a training facility enabling all golfers of all levels to learn new techniques and perfect their swing with the aid of ultra-modern analytical tools and technological equipment.
A massive outdoor swimming pool and children’s play pool as well as a supervised children’s pool in the new kids club provide plenty of space for all the family. Water sports, 4x4 adventure driving, boating, horse riding, mountain biking and a host of other pursuits also lie within easy reach.
The 3,200 square metre spa is quite possibly one of the most beautiful in Europe. Every conceivable comfort, such as hydraulic beds with heated blankets, has been cleverly incorporated in the design. Infusion is the dedicated spa café where the Executive Chef has crafted a delicious, light spa menu using the freshest local produce.
Despite the uncompromising luxury and world-class facilities, the warmth of the welcome and service certainly rival the heat of the Provençal sun.
