Pacuare Lodge’s eco-friendly bungalows are surrounded by exuberant tropical foliage. The buildings are made of wood from tree farms and palm thatch collected in the rainforest. Operating without conventional electricity, the use of solar power and romantic candlelight play an important role alongside reforestation, recycling and community initiatives in minimising the environmental impact of tourism. Although the scenery and nature are spectacular, guests are equally impressed with the service, comfort, food and details such as the wine cellar, dinners and massage therapist.
