Little Good Harbour’s owner, Andrew Warden, has tastefully restored the fabulous old Atlantis Hotel on the east coast of the Barbados. With a palette of cool muted shades, splashes of coloured fabrics and lots of wood, the eight rooms in the main house are seriously romantic with huge windows opening directly onto the ocean.
For families there are two bedroom ocean facing suites in a separate building. For decades The Atlantis has been known for its Sunday lunch buffets and this tradition has been cleverly maintained with a selection of the most delicious Caribbean choices and flavours at the stylish sister restaurant to the famous Fish Pot on the west coast. There is a divine pool and of course constant cooling sea breezes helping the property to maintain an air of casual, barefoot beachside living.
Barbados’ east coast is strikingly beautiful and also has some of the best surfing water that the Caribbean has to offer. A number of beaches with dramatic waves and water-carved geological formations expose a side to Barbados that many do not see.
Little Good Harbour and The Atlantis make the perfect combination so that, whether in the east or west, you can be sure of a stylish bolt-hole.
