Little Good Harbour is a unique all-suite, boutique hotel with a difference. Situated far enough from the West Coast for tranquillity and yet close enough to enjoy the restaurants and action this private and very hip hotel was built from the ruins of an 18th Century fort.
Just fifteen air-conditioned suites have separate sitting rooms with French windows leading onto balconies or terraces and fully equipped kitchens. Furnishings are cool and contemporary, with understated Balinese furniture and original art by local artists.
In the fort itself, the fabulous three bedroom beachfront suite looks right out to the sea while the two bedroom fort suite has the luxury of a private rooftop terrace with stunning views of the bay.
Also in the fort is the Fish Pot Restaurant, one of Barbados’s best restaurants with a fun and funky atmosphere and terrific Bajan and international cuisine. However guests are recommended to eat in the local market for a few dollars or even buy the catch of the day and cook it in their suite.
The pretty swimming pool draws influences from Portugal and Bali and shaded cabanas on a sandy beach overlook the fishing boats moored along the coastline.
