Set in 28 acres of lush Daintree Rainforest, Bali Hai is an idyllic Daintree Rainforest hideaway.
Designed by Chris Van Dyke, the award winning tropical architect, each of the separate thatched villa-style cottages look up into the Daintree Mountains with breathtakingly dramatic views of Mount Demi. Sleeping up to eight people in three Balinese style king bedrooms spread across the villa complex, the accommodation, which is suitable for friends, honeymooners or a family getaway, is decked out with the latest high tech entertainment and sound systems.
There is a also a gourmet kitchen, complete with breakfast provisions, snacks and an outdoor BBQ.
Activities wise, relax in the large saltwater wet edge pool, have a private yoga session, or enjoy a personalised spa package including a relaxing foot soak, full body massage, desert salt exfoliation and warmed mapi mud body wrap with the mountains as a backdrop. There's also the Rainforest to explore or the beach to flop on. While the location is beautifully secluded, it is also only a few minutes drive to Mossman and its 18-hole golf course, the beautiful Newell Beach and Port Douglas.
