Sales Consultant

We are looking to recruit a Sales Consultant with good product knowledge of Europe and short haul destinations.

This is a sales role which includes dealing directly with clients and their enquiries, suggesting and composing appropriate itineraries with quotations and liaising with suppliers.  We are looking for an individual with a real passion for Europe, gained either from extensive travels in that part of the world or preferably from a tour operator background.  Wider geographical knowledge is desirable, whereas good European knowledge is essential.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who is able to use their initiative and think outside of the box. They will have a proven record in sales and excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills. No two days are the same and it is of paramount importance that the candidate can work to deadlines and under pressure. They will need a flexible, can do attitude.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and knowledge. Benefits include travel opportunities, private health care and inclusion in the company’s profit related bonus scheme.

Travel Marketing Manager

We are looking to recruit a Brand Manager within our marketing team.

  • -          Manage content and marketing calendar ensuring deadlines and copy dates are met

    -          Create, source and publish quick turnaround content & imagery, monitor and report on impact. This is defined as website content, digital journal posts, product updates, email content and social posts, client feedback, journalist feedback and quotes, familiarisation trips and occasional video content

    -          Manage, create and coordinate magazine/brochure content production and distribution. Liaising with external design and copywriter to achieve final product

    -          Create and distribute PR, press releases and product updates to external channels, including agency, journalists & bloggers

    -          Coordinate hospitality and client events, against pre agreed budget and timing

    -          Source manage and transfer marketing collateral with external providers

    -          Coordinate with external support marketing agencies including digital, design, hosting and content

    -          Creative idea generation and implementation for on-brand initiatives, campaigns and collateral

    -          General admin support for group marketing function

    -          Liaise with CRM team to develop targeted email campaigns for key groups

    -          Work with product teams to push new properties and areas through own media, building and maintaining relationships with Tourist Boards

    -          Ad-hoc help with costing special offers and promotion of them through website and social media

    -          Be aware of global events and topics which tie in with travel, and work with product to push relevant areas

Skills

 Affinity for brand positioning and core messaging

-          Writing ability for both story-telling and creating brand appropriate marketing copy

-          Appreciation of design sensibilities

-          Good presentation and communication skills

-          Knowledge of PPT, excel, Word, in-design, social network platforms, Google Analytics and their use / value

Accounts Assistant

Provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Accountant. Undertake clerical tasks for the group as listed below but not limited to:

Banking:

  • Prepare and bank all cheques and cash
  • Posting of all receipts to Sales Ledger and booking system

Purchase Ledger

Overheads

  • Maintaining Overhead Supplier Database.
  • Post invoices to Overhead Supplier Ledger

Cost of Sales

  • Receive all invoices by email – save – prepare for payment and file by payment month / type

Sales Ledger

  • Daily import of invoices and credit notes to Sales Ledger
  • Daily import of bookings
  • Ensure invoices and credit notes are received, scanned and filed

Flights

  • Process and import Flight Tickets to Flight Database and ticket control account, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Weekly Flight costs reconciliations
  • Prepare ATOL to ATOL flight invoices

Other

  • Scan all necessary documents, rename, attach to posted documents and file accordingly
  • Assist with weekly Supplier payment runs where necessary
  • Any other duties as reasonably assigned from time to time
