Product & Marketing Support
To provide administrative support & back-up to the product & marketing team within Bailey Robinson (BR).
Key Specific Duties:
Assist Product Managers with changes to current supplier details, updating systems, sales teams requests or accounts as necessary.
Assist in ensuring all information on the website is correct for countries & properties.
Assist in sourcing correct information & images to update/add properties to website.
Load images, properties & resorts to BR website.
Pricing of special offers, brochures & e-newsletters.
Saving special offers & load them onto BR website.
Ensure all property information is correctly maintained & updated on Travelink.
Assist with PR requests by providing fact box prices or sourcing relevant information.
Assist with marketing collateral including brochures & newsletters.
Assist Product & Marketing Managers with monthly e-newsletter providing prices, some text/copy & selecting images for each product.
Assist Marketing Manager with social media as & when required.
Special projects on an ad hoc basis, e.g.: Travelink projects.
Skills & Experience
Higher education qualifications with a background in the travel industry.
Advanced computer skills – specifically excel.
Knowledge of Jooma open-source web programme.
Knowledge of Travelink.
Able to promote brands on social media.
To be responsible for the efficient & cost effective air reservation booking processes for Bailey Robinson while assisting sister company Real Holidays.
Key Specific Duties:
Oversee the day to day reservations of flight bookings & additional services such as seat & meal reservations.
Monitor PNR’s created by travel consultants, ensuring that the lowest appropriate fare is being used.
Issuing all airline tickets, including exchanges, re-issues & processing refunds.
Train staff members in the use of flights IT systems & flights contracts as required.
Utilise extensive knowledge of airlines, fares & holding key contacts with airlines to help in resolving complicated issues as appropriate.
Manage the relationship with our GDS to ensure we are on the best commercial terms, that they are providing the necessary support & the most relevant products are being utilised across the company.
Understand the complex airline contracts & ticketing procedures.
Check that all ticketing deadlines are adhered to by travel consultants.
Promote special offers making sure travel consultants are aware of the best fares available.
Seek to minimize ADMs, check BSP for any ADMs/ACMs or any other notices & log & dispute where needed.
Run flight reports in the event of a crisis which may affect clients, for example industrial disputes, bad weather, ash clouds etc.
Promote auxiliary products, such as lounge passes & airport car parking.
Liaise frequently with internal departments.
Maintaining effective filing systems.
Attend suppliers meetings on & offsite.
Occasionally attend overseas familiarisation presentations.
